This is dedicated to a very dear friend of mine who writes the most amazing and captivating stories. This is a scene from her latest novel. She has a very special bond to the forest and I tried to depict that in this piece.

That is unbelievably well done. It doesn't really look like a photo manipulation. So perfectly done! how long did it take?

Thank you so much! It took roughly 8 hours give or take 1 hour, I worked on it over the period of 2 days in several goes. Did the manip of the background in Painter and the girl and detaisl in Photoshop! My aim was to make it look more like a painting, so I'm so glad it shows
