**EDIT - Woot I came second!!! :excited: :love: ***

This was my entry for the Cosplay Contest level 2 over at :iconmyst-fanclub: We had to make some kind of prop or accessory from the Myst universe. Being terrible at sewing and have no equipment to do any type of wood or metal work, I decided to do an organic prop using materials i'm a bit more familiar with: wires, feathers, ribbons, glitter, glue and beads :)

So my entry wa one of the many blue bugs found fluttering around in Tomahna in Myst IV Revelation.

I've included a screenshot from when I opened the blue bug cage in the bio lab (after Yeesha showed them to me). The screenshots are such poor quality that i had to try and interpret how i think the blue bugs looks like, and i have been studying them both in the game, searching for images and as screen shots to try and deduce details.

What i could work out was that they seemed to have 3 wings on each side going from big to small. The body is very long and narrow and glistens in blue/turquoise and there seemed to be 2 elongated legs or something else with white dots hanging around the back part of the body. It seems to be a mix between butterfly and dragonfly.

The finished bug is about 6 inches from antenna to tail tip.

Wow, that is really remarkable! Excellent job.

Next time you see Yeesha, be sure to give her one and explain that you had to release the bugs to make such an awesome piece of art. Maybe she'll forgive you then.
